The Black Cat Cafe

Michelle treated me thanks to her Manager's bonus. We went to The Black Cat Cafe on the Market. It was quite good. Very expensive, but it has one of the best Chefs in town (Rene Rodriguez).

We're currently house sitting for my folks who are in Martinique.

le Tartuffe

Michelle and I celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday by going to le Tartuffe. Food, service and ambiance were good but they played this really god awful easy listening music which totally didn't belong there. Terrbile judgement by them to play that.

Celebrated my mother's 50th with a surprise party for her and it was lots of fun.

The Kitchen and a Cottage

Michelle and I tried this little place across from Tunney's Pasture the other day. It was quite good. They pretty much make everything from scratch and has a rustic feel to it. I also had dinner with the folks and two great aunts on Preston Street at Il Primo which was very good.

A man I knew in my youth was murdered early Saturday morning here in Ottawa. Quite eerie.
