Chez Menard

We spent Saturday at the cottage and it was quite nice. I really enjoyed driving around the Native reservation in Maniwaki. It's quite big and you can tell they have some good ressources with nice community buildings. It's definitely a well run band. We'll check it out a little more some other time as It got dark.

Nous avons mange chez "Chez Menard" et c'etais tres bon comme d'habitude.

Cold

Winter is finally here this month. That's ok though. We used my folks' gift certificate to us the other night at Social. It was quite good. I had a massive piece of lamb from Alberta.

We meet with a musician tonight to book for the church and reception.

Did the cake tasting the other night. It was good, but it didn't blow me away. Tasted like wedding cake. I think it will taste better once the fondant and flavoured icing will be in it.

Our engagement anniversary tommorrow.

Not much

Not much is new lately. Vendors are going pretty smooth and Michelle and I have started going for more walks. She started running again and she has her first race in March and I can't wait to go see her.

Language test on Saturday with the RCMP.

Monkey Warfare

Saw this the other day at the Bytowne. Really neat. Don McKellar plays a bohemian living in Parkdale.

Michelle and I celebrated the New Year by going to Domus last night. I was quite impressed. Very tasty with lots of local products being used. Regional/Seasonal cuisine is their thing.

She's off to Utah in February for a week of rest and relaxation. Two of my cousins had a baby very recently.

Vendors are coming along. Next up are the musicians for the Church and reception venue followed by a DJ.
